7th Grade Newsletter

May 20-24, 2024

It is hard to believe that this is the final newsletter of the school year! I have grown fond of this group of students and have enjoyed being their homeroom teacher. Getting to know them as a group, and individually, has blessed me in ways that I dearly treasure. It has been an honor to spend my days with them.

This is my SUMMER PRAYER for your sons and daughters:

I pray that they enjoy a summer of rest.

I pray that this summer is full of memories with your family.

I pray for their physical safety.

I pray they get to enjoy All. The. Summer. Things.

*lazy mornings, barefoot walks in the grass, big glasses of ice cold lemonade, starry nights, all the popsicles their bellies can hold, layers of sunscreen, so much swimming they get pruney, a book series that makes them want to read, “just one more chapter”, when they are asked to turn the light off at bedtime, etc.

I pray they have wild and crazy fun at youth group.

I pray they have friendships that deepen and for good, hard laughter.

I pray for their hearts to grow in Jesus at summer camp.

I pray they know how much they are loved.

I pray they know I will miss them.

I pray that, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).

I pray for all the very best!

Mrs. Paynter
