MONDAY MORNING WORSHIP

Cornerstone Christian School starts every week with Monday Morning Worship. All classes gather in the sanctuary for worship, an inspiring mini teaching, announcements and prayer. Each month the school chooses a new hymn to sing.

CHAPELS

Student led chapels are held once every month on a Friday at 11:00 am. All chapels have a prayer, scripture, chapel, music, and skit component and is a fun event. The purpose of our monthly chapel is to give our students an opportunity to share their gifts and talents in a public setting for the blessing and encouragement of their school mates and families. We seek to glorify God in all we do.

COW PLOP

The nip in the air means it is time for Cornerstone’s fall fundraiser, the Cow Plop. Squares in a local field are sold and if the cow “plops” on your square you win a cash prize! The first plop prize $200, the second plop prize $500 and the Grand Prize Plop wins you $1,000! Fall festivities at the Cow Plop include carnival games for the kids and a family hoedown to round out the evening. A sumptuous bake sale and loaded snack bar keeps everyone warm and fed while we wait for the cow to plop.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Get into the Christmas spirit with Cornerstone’s all-school Christmas Program. Every year students of Cornerstone perform an inspiring program with acting, singing and dancing. This is a must see event!

STAR AUCTION

The Cornerstone Star Auction is an evening of friendly bidding wars, delicious finger foods and the chance to catch up with friends of CCS while blessing the school. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Star Auction has something to entice everyone. Each grade creates a unique project for the live auction that some lucky family will take home and treasure forever. Other live auction items have included weekends and weeks at private cabins in Idaho and Montana, and even as far away as Scotland. The silent auction tables brim with professional-quality handmade gifts, food and décor made by local supporters of CCS. Donations of sporting goods, original artwork, themed baskets and practical purchases, like tires and concrete work, are in abundance. There’s a friendly competitive spirit while the student marimba band counts down to the closing moments of each silent auction table. Raffles, a 50-50 drawing and a $500 grand prize mean that even if you come to give, your chances of winning are high. The generous support of Cornerstone’s friends and family make it a huge success every year. Join us the first Friday in March for a night you’ll come back to year after year.
