Bible Verse All scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2nd Timothy 3:16-17
Spelling: bother, chair, change, cheek, cheese, cherry, north, shock, thankful, thirteen, Thursday, whale, wheat, whether, whip (consonant digraphs)
Math: comparing fractions, Roman numerals, adding 3 digit numbers, and ordinal positions.
English: Both pattern 1 and pattern 2 sentences, so students can know the differences. More verb tense activities.
Reading: Stuart Little! With each reading assignment students will have to pick out two of the vocabulary words and look them up in a dictionary (to write definitions). This will be a fairly new skill for some and I foresee many having to take this part of their reading home. If this is the case, they need to have a dictionary at home! Please DON’T use a phone. They need the practice of looking the words up and learning how to use the dictionary properly. During Spelling we will be using dictionaries, so that will help too!
Social Studies: 13 Colonies: Daily life and jobs
Science: Animal Defenses
Classroom Notes: Please check kids’ planners each day. Their planner has their homework list in it! Homework is done EVERY day/night! If they’re not doing their homework it shows in their work!
Chapel is this week(Friday)! Kiddos will be singing a scripture song! I have a funeral to attend, so Mrs. Luna will be in charge!
School Notes: Students must bring their filled water bottles from home. We have water to refill during the day if needed for the duration of the boil order, but PLEASE, have your student bring their regular water bottle filled from home.
